The University of Salford
WHAT HAVE I DONE THROUGHOUT MY STUDIES?
Whilst studying at the University of Salford in MediaCityUk, I have contributed to the university's news outlets - Quays News and Salford Now. From presenting and reporting to producing and directing, I have gained a lot of valuable skills. Broadcast newsdays have played a huge part in the development of my existing journalistic knowledge and required me to work efficiently both independently and within a team.
Salford Now
Salford Now is a student-led site that covers all of Salford's latest news. Throughout broadcast newsdays, I have contributed articles, TV & radio packages, 'behind-the-scenes' roles and so much more. Perhaps one of the most rewarding roles is being a TV show producer as you see the show come together and have control over important aspects such as the running order, presenter's sc and length of packages. Below you can see just a few of the shows I have presented, produced and an example of an iNews rundown which I have created:

Quays News
Quays News is an extra-curricular TV news programme which I have taken part in since my first year of university. It has helped me to gain valuable technical and presenting skills which I have carried through to my final year. Below you can see an episode which I presented:
